The CLOE language certifications, developed and coordinated by the French Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCI) language school network, offers a dynamic learning platform and comprehensive language assessment in five languages tailored to professional environments.

CLOE certifications, aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), are supported by over 80 study centers across France and more than 700 training partners. These certifications emphasize real-world communication skills critical for professional and academic needs.

CLOE combines a secure online computer-adaptive test and an oral examination managed by the CCI language centers, ensuring accurate and context-relevant assessment of both oral and written language competencies.

Drawing on 50 years of linguistic expertise, CCI France ensures that CLOE certifications adhere to rigorous standards, driving professional and academic advancement.

Challenges

In 2018, CCI France developed its own platform to manage digital certificates in PDF format. While this platform enabled the creation of examination sessions, candidate registration, and certificate generation, the PDF format had critical limitations:

  • · Increasing Popularity: As the CLOE certification grew in demand, so did the need for a more secure, reliable system.
